What type of products can I sell online?
Almost anything, ranging from physical items & goods, food, drinks and digital items. Of Course items such as firearm or porn is prohibited.
What do I need in order to start selling?
All you need to sell products online is a domain name, something to sell and a credit card to pay for your online store. The rest will be handle by us including the hosting and email.
I have no clue about internet & website, can I sell?
YES you can! At Web Shops Malaysia we believe you should focus on what you do best; your business and products, leave the technical stuff to us.
Can I use my own domain name with my shop?
Yes! We can help you setup your own domain name to work with your online shop.
How do I setup my Online Shop?
You can register with shopify using this link (Register). You have all the tools required to setup your own online shop all by yourself.

Which countries and currencies are usable with my Online Shop?
Shopify works in almost every country and currency. It is dependent on the payment gateway you use.
You can easily setup your shop to accept payment with paypal. Alternatively if you would like your clients from Malaysia to make payments using their local Banking accounts directly from your shop (i.e maybank2u.com, cimb clicks etc) we can set this payment gateway up for you.
Can users place order for my products using their smartphone and tablets?
Yes, they most definitely can. Most of the Shopify themes are responsive, meaning they are ready and suitable to be viewed on smartphone and will adjust the size accordingly.
What do I do when I get an order?
After you get a new order notification by email, RSS, or mobile text message, you would log in to your account and check out the details screen for that order. If you need to get more information from your customer, you can send them an email right from within Shopify. Then package up the order, send it to the shipping address provided, then mark the order as shipped within Shopify to keep track of things. If your payment processor is set up to separately authorize and then capture funds, you have control over how much money is transferred after the order is placed and you can follow best online business practices by only completing the transaction when you ship the order.
Do I need to spend a lot in snapping amazing photos of my products?
Product photos are important as it usually help in the improving sales. However you don’t need high budget, and can do it yourself using your digital camera or phone. If you require a professional product photography, we can help you with this..
